About the event
Planning ahead is one of the kindest gifts we can leave for those we love.
As part of Dying Matters week, join professional end-of-life doula and family funerals guide Sherie Sullivan from Sovereign Departures for a free community workshop exploring Advance Care Planning and how it can help ensure your wishes are known, understood, and respected.
In this relaxed and welcoming session, you'll learn what an Advance Care Plan is, how it differs from an Advance Directive, where to access New Zealand's free planning resources, and how to start meaningful conversations with the people who matter most.
Whether you're planning for yourself or supporting someone close to you, you'll leave with greater confidence and clarity about taking the next step. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
